POSTED 12th September 2017 CIRCUIT Jaguar Reveal One-make ‘I-Pace’ To Support Formula E Jaguar have released images and sketchy details of the one-make all electric production class to support the Formula E championship at the Frankfurt Motor Show today. The Jaguar I-Pace eTrophy will join the FE championship in 2018 / 2019. Details of price, technical specifications and an exact time-frame were not disclosed, however should be available next year. The championship will be capped at 20 entries with a guest driver to appear at events throughout the calendar. The format will include practice, qualifying and a proposed 30min race. The racing cars will be an all-wheel drive car and will be tested early next year. Jaguar Racing will run the cars. FIA President Jean Todt highlighted the significance of adding a legitimate support class to Formula E with the support and backing of Jaguar behind it. Share this:TwitterFacebook Related
