Josh Moffett, with co-driver Stephen Thornton won the 2017 Lakelands Stages Rally in their Fiesta R5 in scintillating style.  Moffett led the rally in style as he opened a 27 second lead in the opening stage of a six-stage event.  The duo confidently went on to win each stage edging out a gap of 31 seconds to second place team of Jonny Greer and co-driver Kirsty Riddick driving a Citroën DS3 R5.

Sam Moffett and co-driver James Fulton took 3^rd spot in their Fiesta R5.  The duo had won the event for the last two years but it was Josh who kept the event spoils in the Moffett stable this year.

Coming 3^rd, this year has given Sam and Fulton a real chance of clinching the title in the Omagh MCs Bushwhacker rally in three weeks’ time.
