Dubliner Michael Gray (10) Won Motorsport Ireland’s 2019 Cadet Karting Championship

With a significant lead the in Championship, Gray cruised home in 5th place in both the Pre-Final and Final during the Season’s last Round, held at Adventure Park Kartworld (Cork) on the 15th of September to Secure Championship Victory.

The 2019 Cadet Karting Championship attracted the largest grids seen in Motorsport Ireland for several years, with stiff competition from a variety of Top Class Entries.

The Cadet Class saw packed entries from all over Ireland, leading to exciting races, with stiff competition being the order of the day at every event.

 

 

Over the course of the 2019 Championship Gray took victory in Tynagh (Galway), Mondello, White River (Louth) and Watergrass Hill (Cork), with Michael achieving the Highest Amount of Wins over the Course of the Season.

Coupled with these wins, Gray Won 5 out of 8 Pre-finals, along with taking multiple wins in the heats throughout the Championship.

Upon winning the Championship, Gray received a special invitation to compete in the IAME World Finals, which are being held at the World Famous Le Mans Circuit (France), this October.

Gray, along with the runner’s up will be representing Ireland at this World Class Event.

During the Season, Gray also won the Irish Open “O Plate”, along with the 2019 Munster Karting Championship.
