As what has to be Vertical Racing’s best season to date draws to a close, with Leslie Shaw winning the Formula Sheane scholarship series in a superb fashion and David Parks winning both the Northern Irish and Irish national championship as well as the Holmpatrick Trophy and a number of pole positions and fastest laps. A huge effort was made this year by the Vertical Racing team and it really paid off in the end to make the season such a special one and to make the team so proud. Thanks need to be paid to firstly Team principal Robbie Parks for preparing an amazing championship winning car and also to Andrew Murphy for all his work at the race weekends without them it wouldn’t have been possible. The next thanks need to go to Vertical Racing’s sponsors as they really are the backbone of the team thanks to WR SHAW, PORTUMNA AGRI, PORTUMNA MARINE, VERTICAL ACCESS and CORCORAN’S CRASH REPAIRS

Although the season has ended it isn’t over just yet, there’s some special events coming up that the Vertical Racing team will be competing in, for instance the Ford Fiesta 6hr endurance race in Mondello Park in October and the Formula Ford Festival in Brands Hatch also in October.

Once again thanks to all who worked hard this season and all those who supported us, Regards the vertical racing team.
