Not a championship decider, however fantastic last two rounds of the Fiesta Zetec Championship in Mondello Park, Co. Kildare.

Race 1:

After the lunch break, the rain started to fall right on queue, as is customary for Mondello Park.  The Fiesta Zetec’s provided entertainment and exciting racing to spectators.  Darren Lawler (no. 47) won race 1 from Philip Lawless (1) and Lloyd Murphy  (16) in 3rd.

A fantastic race 2 from the Fiesta Zetec’s in Mondello Park on Sunday morning 17.09.17 saw a seasoned Bren Fitzgerald cross the line in  style in what was perfect conditions compared to a wet Saturday’s racing.  Fitzgerald was stripped of his win because of technical a infringement (we believe using an older tyre compound), leaving Owen Purcell (no.17) take the official number one spot from Mark Johnson and William Kellet taking the final spot on the podium.
