Jenson Button has been revealed as McLaren F1’s third driver for the 2017 season.  He will partner Fernando Alonso and Stoffel Vandoorne.

Button who stepped down from his job as Alonso’s team mate, will attend a number of races during 2017.

It will be good to see the Button around the paddock.  We believe Button has a clause in his contract to return to his seat in 2018.  Interesting times for him.  Vandoorne, for his part, needs to ensure that he competes with Alonso to take a career grip on F1.
